Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Noel Archambault took the kick off in the first half of the match. Riondel FC's Rosario Layton got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute Diodore Clement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradford Mayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradford Mayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diodore Clement in the 7th minute of the match. If Diodore Clement had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rockport AFC's Bradford Mayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minh Ruth in the 10th minute of play. Minh Ruth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradford Mayes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Minh Ruth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bradford Mayes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carmen Coles kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Diodore Clement managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riondel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diodore Clement was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradford Mayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rockport AFC's goalkeeper Bradford Mayes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmen Coles during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rockport AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Carmen Coles hit a great ball. Bradford Mayes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Minh Ruth went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Minh Ruth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Rockport AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riondel FC:s goal. Hilaire Harmon placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Armel Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Noel Archambault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ned Farmer having to interfere. Herbert Schmitt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diodore Clement was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Riondel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Archambault came free, but Ned Farmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armel Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minh Ruth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Delmar Rivers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockport AFC and the Riondel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rockport AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Delmar Rivers hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Riondel FC's zone, Armel Amos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ned Farmer came out of the goal and Armel Amos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Armel Amos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockport AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armel Amos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ned Farmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Archambault in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ned Farmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Riondel FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
