The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Benjamin got free with Bradford Mayes in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Barraute FC's Micah Gilbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bradford Mayes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Noel Archambault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micah Gilbert was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Noel Archambault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barraute FC's zone, Noel Archambault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Compton came out of the goal and Noel Archambault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armel Amos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Micah Gilbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rockport AFC's Bradford Mayes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Barraute FC's Micah Gilbert in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rockport AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Barraute FC's Arron Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Archambault made a kick off. If Noel Archambault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 57 in the game by Armel Amos from a close distance when the talented Xavier Compton managed to make a qualified save. Barraute FC's players were relieved. Bradford Mayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah Gilbert in the 59th minute of play. Xavier Compton made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Armel Amos sent off a good shot on target. Armel Amos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Compton having to interfere. Bradford Mayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Benjamin in the 67th minute of play. Bradford Mayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Gilbert in the 69th minute of the match. Armel Amos ran back to his position shaking his head. Barraute FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
