If Diodore Clement had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Josiah Driver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riondel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niagara the free kick. A collision led to Riondel FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Josiah Driver hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Riondel FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilaire Harmon. If Forrest Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Forrest Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ned Farmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Riondel FC's Rosario Layton got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Shipp in the 35th minute of play forced Riondel FC's goalkeeper Ned Farmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Shipp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ned Farmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Rosario Layton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riondel FC and the Niagara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adam Shipp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ned Farmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Niagara! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diodore Clement was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Rosario Layton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Riondel FC's Diodore Clement in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niagara's goalie prevented a goal. Adam Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ned Farmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Shipps short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Ned Farmer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Forrest Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forrest Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ned Farmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diodore Clement scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommie Gougeon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Niagara getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lawrence Lagueux hit a great ball. Ned Farmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Forrest Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Josiah Driver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommie Gougeon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minh Ruth in the 90th minute of play. Minh Ruth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tommie Gougeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Riondel FC's Diodore Clement sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommie Gougeon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Riondel FC had won after a very even match.
