Xavier Compton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Forrest Guzman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Shipp got free with Xavier Compton in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Niagara's Carroll Bonilla got a free kick in the 36th minute. Oscar Benjamin struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tommie Gougeon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barraute FC. In the 43rd match minute, Barraute FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Beaulieu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Forrest Guzman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavier Compton was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After 47 played minutes Barraute FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon Beaulieu.

Xavier Compton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Forrest Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Xavier Compton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Shipp in the 80th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Oscar Benjamin put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tommie Gougeon. In the 86th minute, Lawrence Lagueux made a precise shot to the right of Xavier Compton. Barraute FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
