Terrance Pennington was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Noel Archambault showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Armel Amos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Terrance Pennington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terrance Pennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Archambault in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Jensen in the 17th minute of play forced Rockport AFC's goalkeeper Bradford Mayes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Rockport AFC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Rivers. If Noel Archambault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Armel Amos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Terrance Pennington was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 28 played minutes Rockport AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justin Jenkins. In the 30th minute, Bernard Jensen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenny Sanderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradford Mayes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kenny Sanderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmarolle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Sanderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradford Mayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd match minute, Rockport AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Rivers to maneuver through the defense. Bradford Mayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Sanderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Archambault made a kick off. Bernard Jensen in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bradford Mayes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Terrance Pennington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armel Amos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bernard Jensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmarolle FC's goalkeeper Terrance Pennington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Terrance Pennington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armel Amos went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Terrance Pennington came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Rockport AFC's Noel Archambault. But to his dismay, Noel Archambault quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jean Daly hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rockport AFC's Armel Amos suffered a sore thigh after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rodrigue Scott's late challenge caught a Rockport AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigue Scott helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Palmarolle FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigue Scott. Noel Archambault took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Terrance Pennington. Terrance Pennington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After having played for 97 minutes, Noel Archambault managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockport AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Archambault was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rockport AFC had won after a very even match.
