When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Denny Caldwell sped through Keene FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Constant Rector. A collision led to Broadview getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Devin Ledbetter hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Keene FC's Hiram Pritchard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Monty Vaughan. Monty Vaughan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Jonah Lavoie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Giovanni Law shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constant Rector saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Jonah Lavoie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keene FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonah Lavoie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Bradly Cantu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Broadview's Monty Vaughan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bradly Cantu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Monty Vaughan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Broadview got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Kane. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradly Cantu in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monty Vaughan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monty Vaughan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Giovanni Law managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broadview's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Law was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constant Rector breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constant Rector took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Caldwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constant Rector was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Denny Caldwell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 65 minute of play. After 70 minutes, Roger Humphries mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keene FC and the Broadview players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Keene FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Humphries to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Broadview eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
