Tom Donnelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neilburg FC. Tom Donnelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermenegilde Paul in the 16th minute of play. Percy Wyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothée Casgrain, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th match minute, Wrigley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buford Gould to maneuver through the defense. Marcellus Myers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tom Donnelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Donnelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermenegilde Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percy Wyatt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothée Casgrain in the 30th minute of the match. Marcellus Myers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Wrigley defense, Marcellus Myers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Donnelly. The Wrigley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Donnelly should have stopped the shot. Marcellus Myers struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tom Donnelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neilburg FC.

After 51 minutes of play, Wrigley's Terence Christensen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Wyatt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tom Donnelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmer Kent, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ermenegilde Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Donnelly having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Neilburg FC's Stephen Brandt got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Evan Richer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wrigley's Tom Donnelly didn't even have to move. Wrigley's Tom Donnelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcellus Myers in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Wrigley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willard Leonard to maneuver through the defense. When Marcellus Myers came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Neilburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcellus Myers couldn't finish the play. Wrigley's Tom Donnelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcellus Myers in the 82nd minute of play. If Marcellus Myers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Marc Hobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timothée Casgrain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Percy Wyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terence Christensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Wyatt having to interfere. Wrigley's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
