Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gary Stein took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Claud Cates fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broadview's protests and gave Claud Cates a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Broadview getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Claud Cates hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Broadview's goal looked a bit too open when Johnnie Otero came free, but Monty Vaughan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Josue Wells was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Broadview's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kenogami the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Broadview was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josue Wells to maneuver through the defense. If Johnnie Otero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kenogami fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Broadview's Rafael Glass couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kenogami. With a little luck, Kenogami's Alejandro Ingram got control of the ball when Giovanni Law tried to sneak it across the goal line. Monty Vaughan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnnie Otero, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes, Korey Wilcox mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kenogami and the Broadview players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kenogami getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Korey Wilcox hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Johnnie Otero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Vaughan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Kenogami's Korey Wilcox made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Monty Vaughan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rdth minute of the game Johnnie Otero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Broadview's Monty Vaughan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anibal Fletcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnnie Otero in the 47th minute of play forced Broadview's goalkeeper Monty Vaughan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After 51 played minutes Kenogami got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Fletcher. After 55 played minutes Kenogami got a freekick which was hit by Gregg Purcell. 56 minutes into the game, Broadview's Giovanni Law nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Ingram made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Broadview's zone, Korey Wilcox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monty Vaughan came out of the goal and Korey Wilcox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnnie Otero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Monty Vaughan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Broadview's Milo Barrera got a free kick in the 71st minute. A hard shot 72 in the game by Johnnie Otero from a close distance when the talented Monty Vaughan managed to make a qualified save. Broadview's players were relieved. 82 minutes into the match, Kenogami's Johnnie Otero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Monty Vaughan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Broadview getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rodger Gamelin hit a great ball. Broadview's Monty Vaughan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Broadview from getting a goal against them. If Johnnie Otero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Kenogami's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kenogami may have spent more time on the ball, but Broadview were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
