Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gautier Wheeler got the match started through his kick off. Gautier Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugène Curran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gautier Wheeler in the 6th minute of play forced Sorel's goalkeeper Eugène Curran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sorel's Milton Elkins came free and shot a quick shot against goal 9 minutes in the game, fortunately Milan Huard had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Dino Hunt struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Eugène Curran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paulatuk AFC. Paulatuk AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edmundo Bray 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Sorel's Milton Elkins got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Dino Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugène Curran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlie Shields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Huard having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Paulatuk AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vespasien Zimmer to maneuver through the defense. Milan Huard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Bray in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Gautier Wheeler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugène Curran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorel's Eugène Curran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Hunt in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Bray was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scottie Bolden during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Sorel got a freekick which was hit by Scottie Bolden. Dino Hunt in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugène Curran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 58th minute, Edmundo Bray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Bray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmundo Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Milton Elkins notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Paulatuk AFC's Milan Huard. Milan Huard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sorel's Eugène Curran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sorel from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Paulatuk AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Elkins came free, but Milan Huard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th match minute, Paulatuk AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vespasien Zimmer to maneuver through the defense. Eugène Curran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gautier Wheeler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gautier Wheeler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Vespasien Zimmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sorel had won after a very even match.
