Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Denny Caldwell started the match with the kick off. Edmundo Bray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Edmundo Bray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Vaughan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milton Elkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Monty Vaughan made a huge save. Edmundo Bray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Monty Vaughan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Broadview was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Glass to maneuver through the defense. If Edmundo Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Broadview's Claud Cates got a free kick in the 24th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Sorel's Dylan Aviles tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Bray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Monty Vaughan was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The supporters of Sorel booed when Broadview was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claud Cates didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Milton Elkins made a precise shot to the right of Monty Vaughan. Broadview's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Claud Cates hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Edmundo Bray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Monty Vaughan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Denny Caldwell made a precise shot to the right of Eugène Curran. Sorel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Milton Elkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Law struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Eugène Curran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broadview. Eugène Curran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Law, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Monty Vaughan came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sorel's Milton Elkins. But to his dismay, Milton Elkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Sorel getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dylan Aviles hit a great ball. Rafael Glass, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sorel's Eugène Curran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Caldwell in the 61st minute of play. Eugène Curran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Caldwell in the 65th minute of the match. Edmundo Bray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monty Vaughan having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Josue Wells was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Broadview's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorel the free kick. Josue Wells kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Rodger Gamelin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Milo Barrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Dylan Aviles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Monty Vaughan skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute Edmundo Bray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Vaughan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Law in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugène Curran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eugène Curran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Caldwell in the 90th minute of the match. Edmundo Bray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Monty Vaughan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sorel had won after a very even match.
