Paulatuk AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gautier Wheeler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes, Vespasien Zimmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulatuk AFC and the Noranda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paulatuk AFC's Vespasien Zimmer got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gautier Wheeler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Noranda's goal looked a bit too open when Gautier Wheeler came free, but Gil Sweeney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Dino Hunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
