Fonthill AFC's Trinidad Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Fonthill AFC from getting a goal against them. Cecil Crowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Trinidad Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fonthill AFC's Trinidad Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Fonthill AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Randall Cadieux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Brechin got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Whitlock. Alex Villeneuve kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Brechin's zone, César Singletary stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Blanchard came out of the goal and César Singletary tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fonthill AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
