Stephan L'Hiver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miquel Echols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Paquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gem's Stephan L'Hiver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Cliche in the 35th minute of play. Miquel Echols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Paquet, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Marcus Paquet took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Miquel Echols to make any attempt to save it. Marcus Paquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Terry kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Marcus Paquet struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Miquel Echols didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gem. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Miquel Echols dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Tyson Proctor's late challenge caught a Saseenos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyson Proctor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Gem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyson Proctor to maneuver through the defense. Karl Cliche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Paquet in the 66th minute of play forced Saseenos's goalkeeper Miquel Echols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Gem's Abraham Bain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miquel Echols narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcus Paquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Miquel Echols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
