With a little luck, McLennan's Jackson Winslow got control of the ball when Chet Bright tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rudolf Godwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackson Winslow having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolf Godwin made a kick off. Lamar Ratté scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrea Ly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Andrea Ly managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when McLennan's Lamar Ratté fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bienfait AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Andrea Ly made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Lamar Ratté sent off a good shot on target. If Lamar Ratté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Renato Richter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Renato Richter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of McLennan booed when Bienfait AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurice Slaughter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrea Ly made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lamar Ratté sent off a good shot on target. Chet Bright's late challenge caught a McLennan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chet Bright helped the player get up and apologised. Andrea Ly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Richter, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, McLennan's goal looked a bit too open when Chet Bright came free, but Jackson Winslow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bienfait AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Ly should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Gérald Littlejohn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. McLennan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bienfait AFC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Gérald Littlejohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chet Bright in the 92nd minute of play forced McLennan's goalkeeper Jackson Winslow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bienfait AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching McLennan's performance. The match ended with a win for McLennan.
