Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Jerold Beatty started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Shepard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noé Jeffries to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Godwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentin Chu having to interfere. Florentin Chu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Godwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Florentin Chu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chet Bright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentin Chu having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Rudolf Godwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Shepard FC's Florentin Chu got control of the ball when Chet Bright tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrea Ly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Beatty, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Felipe Brandon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shepard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Brandon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrea Ly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Jeffries in the 37th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Godwin to make the kick off. Maurice Slaughter charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurice Slaughter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Bienfait AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maurice Slaughter. Rudolf Godwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Florentin Chu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darren Parks charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darren Parks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bienfait AFC booed when Shepard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Parks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chet Bright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Florentin Chu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Bienfait AFC's Chet Bright made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentin Chu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Bienfait AFC's zone, Greg Shannon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Ly came out of the goal and Greg Shannon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurice Slaughter kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Andrea Ly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Beatty, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Bienfait AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerold Beatty came free, but Andrea Ly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bienfait AFC's Chet Bright got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bienfait AFC's Andrea Ly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerold Beatty in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st minute, Jerold Beatty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shepard FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jerold Beatty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, one of Bienfait AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Shepard FC. Chi Brown stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andrea Ly. 1-2. Rudolf Godwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Florentin Chu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Shepard FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
