After a defensive mix-up in Alma AFC's zone, Malcolm Booth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stan Clayton came out of the goal and Malcolm Booth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Russell Gingras's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Stan Clayton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Normand Mullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Russell Gingras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Stan Clayton made a huge save. Stan Clayton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russell Gingras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Malcolm Booth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurora's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Booth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stan Clayton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurora's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Alma AFC had won, even though Aurora had held more of the ball.
