Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Félix Harden kicked off to start the match. Henri Garreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chad Croquetaigne having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Samual Yeager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tehkummah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomond the free kick. Samual Yeager hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Félix Harden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chet Ball saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lomond's zone, Gayle Doran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chet Ball came out of the goal and Gayle Doran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Félix Harden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henri Garreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chad Croquetaigne having to interfere. If Félix Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvatore Shea during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Lomond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvatore Shea to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Félix Harden notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lomond's Chet Ball. Chet Ball was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lomond getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gilbert Goodrich hit a great ball. Félix Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chet Ball made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Harden in the 43rd minute of play. Félix Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Chet Ball tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henri Garreau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Félix Harden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chet Ball having to interfere. The supporters of Tehkummah booed when Lomond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvatore Shea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lenny Piper hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Henri Garreau took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chad Croquetaigne. Chad Croquetaigne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Félix Harden was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Félix Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Henri Garreau fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomond's protests and gave Henri Garreau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Henri Garreau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chet Ball made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gayle Doran in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tehkummah eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
