Donnell Masson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Savage in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Ricky Atwood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donnell Masson skillfully saved the ball. Milo Boyles hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Florentino Savage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donnell Masson having to interfere. Ethan Poole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paschal Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Sandoval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ethan Poole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Jeffrey Sandoval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cardinal AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

Ethan Poole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Paschal Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ethan Poole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Piapot AFC's Paschal Mora got control of the ball when Jeffrey Sandoval tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donnell Masson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milo Boyles's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Garrett Kinsey was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, one of Cardinal AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Florentino Savage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piapot AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Savage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donnell Masson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paschal Mora made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jeffrey Sandoval sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Florentino Savage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnell Masson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Cardinal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Marquez to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Florentino Savage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Donnell Masson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeffrey Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
