Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chet Shields started the match with the kick off. Chet Shields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burton Randle having to interfere. Burton Randle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chet Shields, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Russel Kauffman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Chad Corey hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Wetaskiwin's goalkeeper Pat Pate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emon Querry. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Darden in the 26th minute of play forced Wetaskiwin's goalkeeper Pat Pate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes, Wetaskiwin's Tyler Flamand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Burton Randle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wetaskiwin reached it. 30 minutes into the match, Wetaskiwin's goalkeeper Pat Pate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emon Querry. Gonzalo Darden struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Pat Pate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parkhill AFC. Emon Querry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Pate having to interfere. Emon Querry in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pat Pate, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Darden to make the kick off. Emmitt Funk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burton Randle having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Parkhill AFC's Emon Querry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pat Pate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 69th minute, Emon Querry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pat Pate was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Emmitt Funk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Wetaskiwin's zone, Emon Querry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pat Pate came out of the goal and Emon Querry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Peter Beauchemin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parkhill AFC and the Wetaskiwin players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Chet Shields had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Parkhill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cameron Coon. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wetaskiwin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Parkhill AFC.
