With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clément McCarty in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chet Ball saved Lomond from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clément McCarty to strike the kick off in the second half. Jarvis Hancock took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chet Ball. Chet Ball dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Lomond getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Michal Hughes hit a great ball. Chet Ball showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clément McCarty, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Lomond booed when Bedworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Keith didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, David Duplessis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bedworth and the Lomond players grew even worse after the yellow card.
