After a rather tough play, Penetanguishene AFC's Tyson Gipson got a free kick in the 4th minute. Emon Querry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9thth minute of the game Gonzalo Darden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penetanguishene AFC's Winfred Chalut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Winfred Chalut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Darden in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Marion Miles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burton Randle. Parkhill AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marion Miles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Emon Querry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulysses Choi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burton Randle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Choi in the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Emon Querry could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Winfred Chalut however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 46 minutes, Emon Querry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parkhill AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emon Querry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Darden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marion Miles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ulysses Choi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Marion Miles struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Burton Randle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penetanguishene AFC. In the 63rd minute, Marion Miles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marion Miles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Burton Randle managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Penetanguishene AFC's Marion Miles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Winfred Chalut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Darden in the 69th minute of play. Winfred Chalut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emon Querry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emon Querry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, Penetanguishene AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Saindon to maneuver through the defense. Burton Randle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Choi in the 82nd minute of the match. Ulysses Choi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Burton Randle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Roger Saindon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penetanguishene AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parkhill AFC the free kick. In the 89th minute, Roger Saindon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Dan Wyatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Penetanguishene AFC's zone, Russel Kauffman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Winfred Chalut came out of the goal and Russel Kauffman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Dan Wyatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Penetanguishene AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
