Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Cando's Cesaire Carmichael started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrian Nixon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Leonard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lomond getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Harlan Hagan hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Jermaine Hatcher sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lomond's Chet Ball didn't even have to move. In the 12thth minute of the game Cesaire Carmichael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lomond's Chet Ball was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michal Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Jermaine Hatcher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cando's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jermaine Hatcher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chet Ball made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Vito Velazquez sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Cesaire Carmichael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Lomond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harlan Hagan to maneuver through the defense. Cesaire Carmichael might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chet Ball. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesaire Carmichael ran back to his position shaking his head. Vito Velazquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Chet Ball made a huge save. Chet Ball took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesaire Carmichael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lomond getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Michal Hughes hit a great ball. Jermaine Hatcher fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 33rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. After a defensive mix-up in Lomond's zone, Cesaire Carmichael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chet Ball came out of the goal and Cesaire Carmichael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vito Velazquez came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cando fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Velazquez couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Lomond's goal looked a bit too open when Cesaire Carmichael came free, but Chet Ball reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesaire Carmichael in the 44th minute of play forced Lomond's goalkeeper Chet Ball to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Cesaire Carmichael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Chet Ball was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henri Garreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chet Ball stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Velazquez's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Chet Ball made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesaire Carmichael in the 66th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Michel Dow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cando and the Lomond players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Cando got a freekick which was hit by Michel Dow. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Francis Leonard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lomond's supporters rose to their feet, but Francis Leonard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Nixon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lomond getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gilbert Goodrich hit a great ball. Chet Ball showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesaire Carmichael, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Lomond:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cando:s goal. Chet Ball didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jermaine Hatcher went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Chet Ball made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Velazquez in the 90th minute of play. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Cando. Jermaine Hatcher stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chet Ball. 3-0. Cando were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lomond for a fine match.
