Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ethan Poole took the kick off in the first half of the match. Petewawa FC's Ismael Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ethan Poole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Owen Prescott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, Cardinal AFC's Jeffrey Sandoval made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Owen Prescott was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Genaro Guinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Prescott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Cardinal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Guinn to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Petewawa FC booed when Cardinal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquis Thivierge was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Donnell Masson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kenny Marquez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jeffrey Sandoval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Owen Prescott having to make a save. Owen Prescott came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Cardinal AFC's Ethan Poole. But to his dismay, Ethan Poole quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Petewawa FC's Ismael Campos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donnell Masson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kenny Marquez hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Irwin Rosales struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Donnell Masson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petewawa FC. Irwin Rosaless short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Donnell Masson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Irwin Rosales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Donnell Masson made a huge save. Jeffrey Sandoval might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Owen Prescott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeffrey Sandoval ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A hard shot 53 in the game by Jeffrey Sandoval from a close distance when the talented Owen Prescott managed to make a qualified save. Petewawa FC's players were relieved. In the 55th minute, Jeffrey Sandoval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeffrey Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cardinal AFC booed when Petewawa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Auguste Bacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Cardinal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Campos came free, but Donnell Masson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Auguste Bacon hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ambrose Larson's late challenge caught a Cardinal AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrose Larson helped the player get up and apologised. Alonzo Clinton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Owen Prescott made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jeffrey Sandoval sent off a good shot on target. Owen Prescott made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeffrey Sandoval in the 91st minute. Donnell Masson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ethan Poole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Owen Prescott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cardinal AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
