When Jarvis Hancock came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Bedworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarvis Hancock couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clément McCarty in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donnell Masson saved Cardinal AFC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jarvis Hancock sped through Cardinal AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donnell Masson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeffrey Sandoval got free with Roscoe Sabourin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Jarvis Hancock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donnell Masson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Cardinal AFC's Kenny Marquez got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ethan Poole made the kick off in the second half. Ethan Poole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Clément McCarty showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Bedworth's zone, Ethan Poole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roscoe Sabourin came out of the goal and Ethan Poole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeffrey Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Roscoe Sabourin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roscoe Sabourin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Sandoval in the 74th minute of the match. Bedworth were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cardinal AFC's much stronger midfield.
