Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florentino Savage took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Cando was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerald Best to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Heriberto Carr shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Nixon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute Florentino Savage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Nixon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Piapot AFC's zone, Vito Velazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paschal Mora came out of the goal and Vito Velazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Milo Boyles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Nixon. Cando's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milo Boyles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesaire Carmichael in the 23rd minute of play forced Piapot AFC's goalkeeper Paschal Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Velazquez struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Paschal Mora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cando. Erich Narcisse charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erich Narcisse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Cando got a freekick which was hit by Jerald Best. 43 minutes into the game, Piapot AFC's Milo Boyles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Nixon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 47 minutes into the game, Heriberto Carr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piapot AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cando the free kick. The Cando players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piapot AFC were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesaire Carmichael made a kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Milo Boyles from a close distance when the talented Adrian Nixon managed to make a qualified save. Cando's players were relieved. If Milo Boyles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Florentino Savage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Nixon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Savage in the 60th minute of play. Cesaire Carmichael might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paschal Mora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesaire Carmichael ran back to his position shaking his head. Piapot AFC's Paschal Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesaire Carmichael in the 67th minute of play. Florentino Savage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chung Newsome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Savage received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paschal Mora came out of the goal and Cesaire Carmichael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jerald Best fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cando's protests and gave Jerald Best a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Piapot AFC booed when Cando was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerald Best didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesaire Carmichael in the 85th minute of play forced Piapot AFC's goalkeeper Paschal Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piapot AFC's Paschal Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesaire Carmichael in the 96th minute of play. The Piapot AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
