Ismael Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irwin Rosales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Chet Ball tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chet Ball showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Campos in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lomond's Gilbert Goodrich got a free kick in the 10th minute. Chet Ball showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irwin Rosales, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Petewawa FC's Owen Prescott got control of the ball when Francis Leonard tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Francis Leonard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Owen Prescott was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ismael Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chet Ball. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Campos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Ismael Campos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petewawa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Michal Hughes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Francis Leonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Campos to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Campos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Gilbert Goodrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irwin Rosales got free with Chet Ball in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lomond's goalkeeper Chet Ball, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chet Ball showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Irwin Rosales succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 74th playminute. A collision led to Lomond getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Harlan Hagan hit a great ball. Ismael Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Campos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Petewawa FC's Marquis Thivierge got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Michal Hughes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Petewawa FC played a much better game than Lomond and deserved their victory. The Lomond players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
