Royal Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Luc Khan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Robertson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luc Khan came free, but Royal Lane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clarence Gougeon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Luc Khan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Royal Lane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Robertson FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Clarence Gougeon hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Bellakula got a freekick which was hit by Josh Ruff. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nolan Shaffer in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Étienne Lawrence saved Bellakula from getting behind. A collision led to Bellakula getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Vincenzo Wray hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Robertson FC's Nolan Shaffer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Étienne Lawrence. Étienne Lawrence yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Nolan Shaffer's late challenge caught a Bellakula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nolan Shaffer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bellakula booed when Robertson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nolan Shaffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Robertson FC's zone, Thomas Ellis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royal Lane came out of the goal and Thomas Ellis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Royal Lane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc Khan's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Luc Khan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Royal Lane having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luc Khan made a kick off. Andre Scott's late challenge caught a Bellakula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andre Scott helped the player get up and apologised. Andre Scott hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bellakula's Thomas Ellis got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Royal Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Étienne Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermenegilde Moser in the 60th minute of the match. Royal Lane was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luc Khan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 63 minute of play. Étienne Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nolan Shaffer, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Thomas Ellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Ellis took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Royal Lane. Royal Lane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Bellakula getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Josh Ruff hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Vincenzo Wray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bellakula and the Robertson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Bellakula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincenzo Wray to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nolan Shaffer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Étienne Lawrence was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Virgil Bowers charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Bowers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 90 minutes into the game, one of Bellakula:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 92 minutes into the match, Simon Woodruff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Étienne Lawrence. Bellakula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Woodruff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Royal Lane was a little too slow when Luc Khan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-3. The Robertson FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bellakula's performance. The match ended with a win for Bellakula.
