The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Monty Beauchamps hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Hugo Shapiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Orrville getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Monty Beauchamps hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Jesse Sterling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Oakley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lester Martineau in the 13th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Orrville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aces:s goal. Neal Morton walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Peter Oakley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lester Martineau went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aces's Jefferey Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lester Martineau scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Oakley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Shapiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ellsworth Salgado made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Aces's goal looked a bit too open when Jesse Sterling came free, but Peter Oakley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Beauchamps in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Oakley saved Aces from getting behind. After the first half Orrville were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lester Martineau made a kick off. Hugo Shapiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ellsworth Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Shapiro in the 54th minute of play forced Orrville's goalkeeper Ellsworth Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jefferey Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ellsworth Salgado was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Peter Oakley made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jesse Sterling sent off a good shot on target. Aces's Peter Oakley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lester Martineau in the 62nd minute of play. Ellsworth Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winston Beauchamps in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Hugo Shapiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ellsworth Salgado. Orrville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Shapiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 70 minutes into the match, Aces's goal looked a bit too open when Lester Martineau came free, but Peter Oakley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Aces booed when Orrville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lester Martineau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aces's Aimé Hull got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Winston Beauchamps notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Orrville's Ellsworth Salgado. Ellsworth Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Cristobal Perry had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Aimé Hull fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aces's protests and gave Aimé Hull a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aces's Aimé Hull got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Orrville's Ellsworth Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimé Hull in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Orrville defense, Garfield Jaramillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ellsworth Salgado. The Orrville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ellsworth Salgado should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Aces booed when Orrville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grégoire Potts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jefferey Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aces's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferey Rogers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ellsworth Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aces had played much better football throughout.
