In the 16th minute, Bellakula's Devin Jacques seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Devin Jacques the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bellakula protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Devin Jacques had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Bellakula:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Revelstoke AFC:s goal. Lemuel Strange placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrick Guidry in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Étienne Lawrence saved Bellakula from getting behind. Juste Elliott blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Étienne Lawrence having to make a save. 24 minutes into the match, Bellakula's goal looked a bit too open when Juste Elliott came free, but Étienne Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Revelstoke AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jackie Roche. Étienne Lawrence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Revelstoke AFC booed when Bellakula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Bowers didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dee Riggs couldn't finish the play. Étienne Lawrence made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Bellakula's Étienne Lawrence got control of the ball when Rodrick Guidry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sherwood Calloway blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Onesime Dias having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Revelstoke AFC's Juste Elliott sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Étienne Lawrence narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bellakula's zone, Eldon Boyles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Étienne Lawrence came out of the goal and Eldon Boyles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrick Guidry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Étienne Lawrence having to make a save. With a little luck, Bellakula's Étienne Lawrence got control of the ball when Rodrick Guidry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrick Guidry struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Étienne Lawrence didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revelstoke AFC.
