Mohammad Hartley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Brousseau, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Yale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JUVENTUS FC the free kick. JUVENTUS FC made a substitution. Raymond Reid replaced Noé Bouchard. JUVENTUS FC's Jose Leblanc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Bourget in the 11th minute of play. Bobbie Kim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mohammad Hartley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bobbie Kim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammad Hartley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Ouellet in the 30th minute of the match. Mohammad Hartley came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by JUVENTUS FC's Robin Smalls. But to his dismay, Robin Smalls quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hobert Cyr's late challenge caught a JUVENTUS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hobert Cyr helped the player get up and apologised. Bobbie Kim took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohammad Hartley. Mohammad Hartley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobbie Kim to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Bobbie Kim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JUVENTUS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobbie Kim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS FC's Raphael Ouellet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammad Hartley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 57 minutes of play, JUVENTUS FC's Timothée Grier made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohammad Hartley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bobbie Kim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Hartley having to interfere. Mohammad Hartley made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Gregory Brousseau sent off a good shot on target. Bobbie Kim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammad Hartley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute Franklin Bourget shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobbie Kim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Yale's Corin Medley got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Jon Ledford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timothée Grier charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timothée Grier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes JUVENTUS FC got a freekick which was hit by Timothée Grier. 92 minutes into the game, Timothée Grier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mohammad Hartley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Yale booed when JUVENTUS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Smalls didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Yale supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching JUVENTUS FC's performance. The match ended with a win for JUVENTUS FC.
