With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rich Banks in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwardo Street saved Fortune FC from getting behind. After 5 minutes of play, Blackwater's Marlon Rhéaume made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edwardo Street was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joan Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Brooks Quinones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute of the match Trenton Goodman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perry Travis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marlon Rhéaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edwardo Street tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marlon Rhéaume got free with Edwardo Street in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 47 minutes, Buster Bunch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortune FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Buster Bunch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rich Banks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Marlon Rhéaume's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwardo Street was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Marlon Rhéaume notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fortune FC's Edwardo Street. In the 78th match minute, Blackwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dee Lara to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Fortune FC's Clifton Hansen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Edwardo Street showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marlon Rhéaume, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Blackwater's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
