Orrville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hazeldean the free kick. Charles Gendron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ellsworth Salgado. Orrville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lenny Bullard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellsworth Salgado having to interfere. When Hazeldean's Lenny Bullard in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orrville's goalie prevented a goal. Jamel Morton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ellsworth Salgado having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Jamel Morton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lenny Bullard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ellsworth Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamel Morton, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jamel Morton in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ellsworth Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ellsworth Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Bullard, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jesse Sterling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jamel Morton came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hazeldean fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamel Morton couldn't finish the play. Monty Beauchamps hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lenny Bullard was the one to do the kick off. Jamel Morton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesse Sterling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Rowe having to interfere. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Jamel Morton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ellsworth Salgado. Orrville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jamel Morton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Paul Rowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Sterling, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Lenny Bullard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Orrville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ethan Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, Orrville's Jesse Sterling made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Rowe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lenny Bullard struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ellsworth Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hazeldean. Ellsworth Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Bullard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute of the match Ethan Tinsley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Rowe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
