Ricardo Choi might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Heard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Choi ran back to his position shaking his head. Delbert Desjardins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jacob Heard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Cannington AFC's Guy Rochon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Heard was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Antione Archer made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Cannington AFC's protests and gave Reinaldo Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. Guy Rochon scored 0-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Heard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacob Heard made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ricardo Choi sent off a good shot on target. Guy Rochon took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacob Heard. Jacob Heard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. If Antione Archer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel James showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Dominguez in the 93rd minute of the match.
