Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Dorion AFC's Emanuel Dominguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nigel James narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel James having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Emanuel Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorion AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Dominguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel James breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antione Archer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match Joseph Devine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nigel James showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel James having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Reinaldo Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dorion AFC's Kory Blackwell got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jacob Heard made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Scottie Whatley sent off a good shot on target. Lonny Dove hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cannington AFC's goalkeeper Nigel James, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Emanuel Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Antione Archer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nigel James tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Dorion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Rochon came free, but Jacob Heard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Choi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jacob Heard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Antione Archer came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Dorion AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antione Archer couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Antione Archer made the kick off in the second half. Cannington AFC's Guy Rochon got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorion AFC's Jacob Heard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Choi in the 55th minute of play. If Lonny Dove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Guy Rochon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Heard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Heard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Rochon in the 72nd minute of play. After 78 played minutes Dorion AFC got a freekick which was hit by Absolon Kraft. With a little luck, Cannington AFC's Nigel James got control of the ball when Emanuel Dominguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorion AFC's attack was well implemented in the 89th minute, but when Emanuel Dominguez was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Antione Archer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nigel James came out and tried to block the shot, but Antione Archer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes, Mauricio Pollard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cannington AFC and the Dorion AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cannington AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mauricio Pollard hit a great ball. Dorion AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
