Dorion AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antione Archer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antione Archer in the 11th minute of play forced Montmartre's goalkeeper Ashley Gougeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dorion AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lonny Dove hit a great ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Emanuel Dominguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montmartre's Ashley Gougeon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Emanuel Dominguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Montmartre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Vadnais to maneuver through the defense. Antione Archer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ashley Gougeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Larry Sinclair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montmartre and the Dorion AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dorion AFC booed when Montmartre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Sinclair didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorion AFC's Jacob Heard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenard Metcalf in the 36th minute of play. When Antoine Gallegos fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montmartre's protests and gave Antoine Gallegos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Montmartre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Gallegos to maneuver through the defense. Denny Vadnais kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Antione Archer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dorion AFC's zone, Lenard Metcalf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Heard came out of the goal and Lenard Metcalf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Montmartre's Larry Sinclair tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lenard Metcalf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Heard having to interfere. When Montmartre's Lenard Metcalf in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenard Metcalf couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Antione Archer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ashley Gougeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
