Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Vandry AFC's Arnaud Haywood started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arlen Patry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaud Haywood in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Belmont's goalkeeper Arlen Patry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shannon Kirkpatrick. Truman Wheeler hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vandry AFC's Urbain Bolden tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arnaud Haywood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlen Patry having to interfere. A collision led to Vandry AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mohammad McLean hit a great ball. Charles Hess's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Merlin Jetté - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Delbert Ingram managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belmont's supporters rose to their feet, but Delbert Ingram was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Jetté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Delbert Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Jetté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lewis Chatigny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Belmont's zone, Arnaud Haywood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlen Patry came out of the goal and Arnaud Haywood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Truman Wheeler during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Truman Wheeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lewis Chatigny was the one to do the kick off. Arnaud Lane hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Merlin Jetté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Hess, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Delbert Ingram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Merlin Jetté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Jetté made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Delbert Ingram sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Vandry AFC's Merlin Jetté got control of the ball when Delbert Ingram tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vandry AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Charles Hess placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 71 minutes into the match, Shannon Kirkpatrick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlen Patry. Belmont's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shannon Kirkpatrick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lewis Chatigny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Jetté having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Lewis Chatigny recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Merlin Jetté. Lewis Chatigny showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 86th minute, Arnaud Haywood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shannon Kirkpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The Belmont players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
