In the 30th match minute, Maxville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirk Aucoin to maneuver through the defense. Maxville's Jordon Covillon got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonzo Abrams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Guillaume Muniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Beebe's Jimmie Gorman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillaume Muniz. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Beebe defense, Achille Bunch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernie Arroyo. The Beebe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernie Arroyo should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 63rd minute, Kirk Aucoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achille Bunch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Arroyo having to interfere. Alfonzo Abrams kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Guillaume Muniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonzo Abrams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achille Bunch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillaume Muniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonzo Abrams in the 83rd minute of play. If Jimmie Gorman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Achille Bunch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maxville eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
