Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jame Givens got the match started through his kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Jame Givens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Miocene's Solomon Hollingsworth dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Miocene's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Howell came free, but Arturo Barton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brooks Lusk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clyde Vogt in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Igluligaarjuk's Rickey Chaussée got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Otto Dodge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brooks Lusk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arturo Barton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosario Howell in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jame Givens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Barton was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes Miocene got a freekick which was hit by Nickolas Trudeau. After a rather tough play, Igluligaarjuk's Esteban Woodard got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Solomon Hollingsworth to make the kick off. When Rosario Howell came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Igluligaarjuk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosario Howell couldn't finish the play. Archie Sapp hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Brooks Lusk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Vogt in the 65th minute of the match. Clyde Vogt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brooks Lusk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Solomon Hollingsworth's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Jame Givens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Barton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Igluligaarjuk's Rosario Howell made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Barton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igluligaarjuk's Brooks Lusk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyle Grubb in the 77th minute of play. Arturo Barton made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Rosario Howell sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Igluligaarjuk's goalkeeper Brooks Lusk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Archie Sapp's late challenge caught a Igluligaarjuk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Archie Sapp helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Igluligaarjuk booed when Miocene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Sapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jame Givens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lyle Grubb hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Jame Givens came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Igluligaarjuk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jame Givens couldn't finish the play. Solomon Hollingsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosario Howell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Arturo Barton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Igluligaarjuk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
