Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnaud Haywood took the kick off in the first half of the match. Matheson FC's Abdul Nesbitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud Haywood in the 3rd minute of play. If Arnaud Haywood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdul Nesbitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shannon Kirkpatrick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Arnaud Haywood was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vandry AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matheson FC the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Vandry AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaud Haywood to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Cardenas in the 26th minute of play forced Vandry AFC's goalkeeper Merlin Jetté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Julius Jeffries mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vandry AFC and the Matheson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julius Jeffries kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Lawerence Scales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Vandry AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chester Witt. The audience was convinced that Lawerence Scales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merlin Jetté was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Merlin Jetté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawerence Scales, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Merlin Jetté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawerence Scales in the 38th minute of play. When Marty Cardenas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Matheson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marty Cardenas couldn't finish the play. Arnaud Haywood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marty Cardenas made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Vandry AFC's goalkeeper Merlin Jetté had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lawerence Scales. If Marty Cardenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, one of Matheson FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Vandry AFC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Urbain Bolden, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Matheson FC's Abdul Nesbitt. 1-0. In the 86th minute, Shannon Kirkpatrick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vandry AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Merlin Jetté successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Cardenas in the 95th minute of play forced Vandry AFC's goalkeeper Merlin Jetté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Marty Cardenas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Merlin Jetté saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chester Witt charged in rather forcefully in the 100th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chester Witt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Matheson FC booed when Vandry AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chester Witt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vandry AFC had won after a very even match.
