If Raymond Snyder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Snyder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Merlin Jetté when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Raymond Snyder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Merlin Jetté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Shannon Kirkpatrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leandro Labrecque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merlin Jetté stood somewhat misplaced when Frank Lampron came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Mohammad McLean kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Cliffside FC's Raymond Snyder got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Frank Lampron took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Merlin Jetté to make any attempt to save it. Frank Lampron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merlin Jetté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Lampron in the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Cliffside FC's Leandro Labrecque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Cliffside FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 59 in the game by Shannon Kirkpatrick from a close distance when the talented Leandro Labrecque managed to make a qualified save. Cliffside FC's players were relieved. Frank Lampron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaud Haywood in the 70th minute of play forced Cliffside FC's goalkeeper Leandro Labrecque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Lampron in the 72nd minute of play forced Vandry AFC's goalkeeper Merlin Jetté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Robin Lizotte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Merlin Jetté showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Cliffside FC booed when Vandry AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad McLean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Labrecque made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Shannon Kirkpatrick sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Frank Lampron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Jetté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merlin Jetté stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Lampron's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After 92 minutes, Shannon Kirkpatrick made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cliffside FC's Leandro Labrecque tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Lampron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Merlin Jetté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
