Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Bridges in the 3rd minute of play forced Chevaliers de Québec's goalkeeper Jay McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norman Villanueva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Titus Broussard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, John Zoolingen made a precise shot to the right of Abdul Nesbitt. Matheson FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Abdul Nesbitt came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Chevaliers de Québec's Clemente Blanco. But to his dismay, Clemente Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Theo Guilmette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Matheson FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Zoolingen came free, but Abdul Nesbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norman Villanueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Zoolingen in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdul Nesbitt saved Matheson FC from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Matheson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Goodson to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Jamel Rouse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdul Nesbitt skillfully saved the ball. Abdul Nesbitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Guilmette in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Robbie Goodson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jamel Rouse came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Chevaliers de Québec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamel Rouse couldn't finish the play. Abdul Nesbitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Zoolingen in the 45th minute of play. Chevaliers de Québec's Titus Broussard got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Vince Bridges's late challenge caught a Chevaliers de Québec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vince Bridges helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Vince Bridges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Robbie Goodson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Johnathan Beck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chevaliers de Québec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matheson FC the free kick. After 64 played minutes Chevaliers de Québec got a freekick which was hit by Johnathan Beck. Jay McDonough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Cardenas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Chevaliers de Québec got a freekick which was hit by John Zoolingen. John Zoolingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 78 minutes, Titus Broussard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chevaliers de Québec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titus Broussard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Matheson FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Léonard Zamora hit a great ball. When Chevaliers de Québec's John Zoolingen in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matheson FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Matheson FC's zone, Norman Villanueva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdul Nesbitt came out of the goal and Norman Villanueva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chevaliers de Québec's Clemente Blanco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Léonard Zamora in the 89 minute of the game. Titus Broussard might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdul Nesbitt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Titus Broussard ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Matheson FC's zone, John Zoolingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdul Nesbitt came out of the goal and John Zoolingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Titus Broussard scored 0-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdul Nesbitt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Matheson FC's zone, Theo Guilmette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdul Nesbitt came out of the goal and Theo Guilmette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chevaliers de Québec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
