John Zoolingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Jetté having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game John Zoolingen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vandry AFC's Merlin Jetté was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Titus Broussard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Zoolingen in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Jetté prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 15 minutes, Titus Broussard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chevaliers de Québec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titus Broussard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chevaliers de Québec getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jamel Rouse hit a great ball. Arnaud Lane hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Norman Villanueva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vandry AFC's Merlin Jetté. Merlin Jetté was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonia Tolbert kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Jamel Rouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, John Zoolingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Julius Jeffries hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Clemente Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chevaliers de Québec's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Jetté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaud Haywood made a kick off. John Zoolingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Jetté having to interfere. John Zoolingen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Merlin Jetté came out and tried to block the shot, but John Zoolingen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, John Zoolingen put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Merlin Jetté. Titus Broussard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When John Zoolingen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Chevaliers de Québec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Zoolingen couldn't finish the play. Arnaud Haywood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay McDonough having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammad McLean during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chevaliers de Québec made a substitution. Kirby Haywood replaced Titus Broussard. In the 87th match minute, Vandry AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammad McLean to maneuver through the defense. Theo Guilmette struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Merlin Jetté didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chevaliers de Québec. John Zoolingens short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Merlin Jetté to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Merlin Jetté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirby Haywood, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Chevaliers de Québec left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vandry AFC.
