Bernie Arroyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Chatigny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Truman Wheeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Beebe's Asa Richards got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bernie Arroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Chatigny in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Demetrius Grimes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arlen Patry showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Belmont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Peacock to maneuver through the defense. Alfonzo Abrams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlen Patry having to interfere. Bernie Arroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Chatigny in the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lewis Chatigny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belmont's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Chatigny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernie Arroyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th match minute, Belmont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Truman Wheeler to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Lewis Chatigny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernie Arroyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beebe's Bernie Arroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delbert Ingram in the 40th minute of play. Lewis Chatigny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Arroyo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lewis Chatigny to make the kick off. Belmont's Delbert Ingram got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, Truman Lowe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beebe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belmont the free kick. A collision led to Beebe getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Truman Lowe hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Belmont's Charles Hess in action when he in the 55th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Arlen Patry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Gorman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Delbert Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernie Arroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Wayne Rooney in the 69th minute really tested Bernie Arroyo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Belmont getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Lewis Chatigny hit a great ball. Renaud Bowers's late challenge caught a Belmont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renaud Bowers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Renaud Bowers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Belmont's Lewis Chatigny in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beebe's goalie prevented a goal. Delbert Ingram succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 88th playminute. Lewis Chatigny kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Lewis Chatigny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernie Arroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belmont had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
