Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ellsworth Spicer got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Ellsworth Spicer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vantage AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Israel McCann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Merlin Jetté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Tilley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Haywood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Vandry AFC's Arnaud Haywood ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Tilley. Ivan Tilley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 14th match minute, Vandry AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammad McLean to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Ellsworth Spicer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Merlin Jetté was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ellsworth Spicer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vantage AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ellsworth Spicer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Jetté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Shannon Kirkpatrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Arnaud Haywood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shannon Kirkpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vandry AFC defense, Israel McCann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merlin Jetté. The Vandry AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merlin Jetté should have stopped the shot. Israel McCann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Jetté having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Eddie Short hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Vantage AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Haywood came free, but Ivan Tilley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vantage AFC's Ivan Tilley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammad McLean in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vantage AFC's Dennis Riley got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When Vandry AFC's Arnaud Haywood in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vantage AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shannon Kirkpatrick in the 56th minute of play forced Vantage AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Tilley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Shannon Kirkpatrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Tilley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaud Haywood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Tilley came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vandry AFC's Mohammad McLean. But to his dismay, Mohammad McLean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The supporters of Vantage AFC booed when Vandry AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad McLean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaud Haywood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shannon Kirkpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
