Chevaliers de Québec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jordon Covillon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jordon Covillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay McDonough having to interfere. Norman Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Muniz having to interfere. In the 17th minute Jordon Covillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Zoolingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Muniz having to interfere. Guillaume Muniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Villanueva in the 21st minute of the match. John Zoolingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Guillaume Muniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Titus Broussard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chevaliers de Québec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxville the free kick. Titus Broussard hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Chevaliers de Québec's Titus Broussard got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Villanueva in the 32nd minute of play forced Maxville's goalkeeper Guillaume Muniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, John Zoolingen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chevaliers de Québec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Clemente Blanco struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Guillaume Muniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chevaliers de Québec. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Zoolingen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Maxville's zone, Titus Broussard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillaume Muniz came out of the goal and Titus Broussard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute John Zoolingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Muniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Titus Broussard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Wood charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Wood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Maxville's Rene Wood got a free kick in the 66th minute. Norman Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Muniz having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Maxville got a freekick which was hit by Kirk Aucoin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Zoolingen in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillaume Muniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Titus Broussard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Titus Broussard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillaume Muniz. Maxville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Titus Broussard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The Chevaliers de Québec fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Chevaliers de Québec's John Zoolingen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute, Clemente Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Chevaliers de Québec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titus Broussard to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute John Zoolingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Muniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chevaliers de Québec's Jay McDonough proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Chevaliers de Québec from getting a goal against them. Guillaume Muniz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chevaliers de Québec's John Zoolingen. But to his dismay, John Zoolingen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Norman Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Muniz having to interfere. Chevaliers de Québec walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
