Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Frank Lampron made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Snyder got free with Ivan Tilley in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ellsworth Spicer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leandro Labrecque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Tilley was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Frank Lampron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Lampron really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Cliffside FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jess Watkins hit a great ball. Leandro Labrecque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Spicer in the 25th minute of play. Cliffside FC's Raymond Snyder got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Riley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Labrecque having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Israel McCann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cliffside FC's Leandro Labrecque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Lampron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ivan Tilley made a huge save. Ellsworth Spicer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Labrecque having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ellsworth Spicer made the kick off in the second half. Frank Lampron's late challenge caught a Vantage AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Lampron helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Lampron kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Israel McCann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Leandro Labrecque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Israel McCann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Ellsworth Spicer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vantage AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ellsworth Spicer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Lampron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Tilley having to interfere. In the 80th minute Raymond Snyder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Tilley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raymond Snyder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vantage AFC's zone, Frank Lampron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Tilley came out of the goal and Frank Lampron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel McCann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Leandro Labrecque made a huge save. Leandro Labrecque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Spicer in the 95th minute of play. When Ellsworth Spicer came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Vantage AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ellsworth Spicer couldn't finish the play. Cliffside FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
