After recieving a nice pass, Vantage AFC's Eddie Short tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Israel McCann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlen Patry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Belmont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Thompson to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Belmont's Lewis Chatigny dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Delbert Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delbert Ingram in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Tilley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Vantage AFC's zone, Delbert Ingram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Tilley came out of the goal and Delbert Ingram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Lewis Chatigny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Tilley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Belmont getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Wayne Rooney hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Vantage AFC's Eddie Short shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arlen Patry came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vantage AFC reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ellsworth Spicer to strike the kick off in the second half. Ellsworth Spicer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel McCann came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arlen Patry could save by the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Belmont's goalkeeper Arlen Patry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel McCann. Ellsworth Spicer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlen Patry having to interfere. The supporters of Vantage AFC booed when Belmont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Truman Wheeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Delbert Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlen Patry was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ellsworth Spicer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 74 minute of play. When Vantage AFC's Ellsworth Spicer in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belmont's goalie prevented a goal. Belmont's Arlen Patry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellsworth Spicer in the 80th minute of play. If Lewis Chatigny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Belmont's Arlen Patry got control of the ball when Israel McCann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Tilley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delbert Ingram in the 94th minute of the match. Lewis Chatigny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
