Dobrin Bozhilski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Fabien Gibson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabien Gibson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Cuillerier in the 7th minute. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dobrin Bozhilski sped through Hawkesbury AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabien Gibson. Dobrin Bozhilski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 18th playminute. In the 20th minute Dobrin Bozhilski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Gibson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Dobrin Bozhilski sped through Hawkesbury AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabien Gibson. Wilson Deschênes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Andromedans's Dobrin Bozhilski in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hawkesbury AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Fabien Gibson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Andromedans's Benton Bartlett. But to his dismay, Benton Bartlett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Cyril Leonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabien Gibson stood somewhat misplaced when Dobrin Bozhilski came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobrin Bozhilski was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Benton Bartlett notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Hawkesbury AFC's Fabien Gibson. Fabien Gibson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hawkesbury AFC's Fabien Gibson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benton Bartlett in the 56th minute of play. When Edgar Lincoln fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hawkesbury AFC's protests and gave Edgar Lincoln a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Hawkesbury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Lincoln. After a defensive mix-up in Hawkesbury AFC's zone, Dobrin Bozhilski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Gibson came out of the goal and Dobrin Bozhilski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hawkesbury AFC booed when Andromedans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Zamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andromedans's Dobrin Bozhilski in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Andromedans's Ronny Bauer got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Keneth Murdock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Arturo Garin made a huge save. In the 96th match minute, Andromedans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Cuillerier to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Andromedans were the better team. Andromedans's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
