Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darnell Macias got the match started through his kick off. Odis Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Lajeunesse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Antione Quick made a precise shot to the right of Leo Bryant. Scotsguard's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Lothaire Loomis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scotsguard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Richelieu AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Scotsguard's Lothaire Loomis got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Darnell Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Bryant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Doran struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Leo Bryant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richelieu AFC. After a rather tough play, Richelieu AFC's Palmer Carson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Vincent Ramirez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Antione Quick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Scotsguard booed when Richelieu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antione Quick didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Angelo Doran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Bryant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Doran might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Bryant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Doran ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jean Lajeunesse came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Scotsguard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Lajeunesse couldn't finish the play. Angelo Doran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scotsguard's goalkeeper Leo Bryant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bill Crowley's late challenge caught a Richelieu AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bill Crowley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Bill Crowley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palmer Carson, 51 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

With 58 minutes on the clock, Albert Thayer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Richelieu AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Scotsguard. Vincent Ramirez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Odis Gonzales. 1-1. In the 70th minute Jean Lajeunesse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odis Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Richelieu AFC's Elvin Yarbrough got a free kick in the 78th minute. Vincent Ramirez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Darnell Macias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Scotsguard's Vincent Ramirez tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Richelieu AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Elvin Yarbrough hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léandre Aucoin in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odis Gonzales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Léandre Aucoin sped through Richelieu AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Odis Gonzales. Léandre Aucoin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean Lajeunesse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jean Lajeunesse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
