Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Scotsguard's Jean Lajeunesse started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Léandre Aucoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Theodore Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otis Jetté hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Léandre Aucoin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Wingham FC's Theodore Beard. Theodore Beard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Otis Jetté's late challenge caught a Scotsguard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otis Jetté helped the player get up and apologised. Otis Jetté hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Scotsguard defense, Eric Pearce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Bryant. The Scotsguard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Bryant should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Lajeunesse in the 17th minute of play forced Wingham FC's goalkeeper Theodore Beard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Léandre Aucoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Wingham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Léandre Aucoin came free, but Theodore Beard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otis Jetté kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Léandre Aucoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scotsguard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léandre Aucoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Léandre Aucoins short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Theodore Beard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Otis Jetté hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Léandre Aucoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scotsguard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léandre Aucoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scotsguard's Leo Bryant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorsey Laramée in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Eric Pearce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wingham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Pearce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Bryant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, Scotsguard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. Eric Pearce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Bryant having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eric Pearce made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Justin Vaughn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léandre Aucoin in the 54th minute of play forced Wingham FC's goalkeeper Theodore Beard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Bryant made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Dorsey Laramée sent off a good shot on target. Léon Lilly kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dorsey Laramée recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Bryant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Pearce, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Scotsguard's goalkeeper Leo Bryant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otis Jetté. Léandre Aucoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodore Beard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Lajeunesse, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Theodore Beard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Lajeunesse in the 80th minute of the match. Scotsguard's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Eric Pearce scored to the left of an out of position Leo Bryant, making the score, 1-2. After recieving a nice pass, Scotsguard's Vincent Ramirez tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wingham FC's Justin Vaughn got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jean Lajeunesse got in the 93rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Theodore Beard handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Jean Lajeunesse put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Theodore Beard. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
